If we must deport illegal immigrants in the USA… ICE is being warned by us NOT to take away any personal belongings on their personhood unless it’s a weapon or can be used as a weapon (belts, lighters, objects that can stab others or construction steel toe boots – provide them with sandals) or if they are in possession of illegal controlled substances without a valid prescription. You MUST allow all deportees to keep their wallets, personal documents cell phones, tablets/laptops and ALL jewelry in their possession at ALL times during the detainment and deportation process unless they give permission for safekeeping which all will likely NOT! Why? Too many incidents of deportees having their personal possessions stolen by corrupt ICE agents! You are also putting their life at risk by sending them back to an offshore country without any cell phone/tablet/laptop, wallet or personal documents! Jewelry also can have very sentimental value & there is no need to humiliate them in that manner nor steal valuables like a jerk! Period! We understand they are breaking immigration laws but ICE also needs to understand they are engaging in theft & setting up individuals to be self-sabotaged by separating these belongings mentioned from people who are still humans and deserve at least some basic human dignity and respect! Another reason? It is a waste of resources and time to process them like this! Do NOT make them put on a detainment uniform unless their dress is inappropriate by exposing their nude body, let them wear the clothes in which they were detained with! Following this procedure will make the process go much more quickly and without any negative media publicity! Why give your critics ammunition with bad media publicity? Right? Exactly! Karma will hit ICE agents badly if they do NOT listen! We promise you!
